Mercoledì 4 marzo dalle 20.30 La Sobilla ospita “Portuali”, il docufilm di Perla Sardella distribuito da OpenDDB – Distribuzioni dal Basso, tra le anteprime del Festival del Giornalismo di Verona. Un lavoro che entra nel cuore della mobilitazione del Collettivo Autonomo Lavoratori Portuali di Genova, raccontando scioperi, prese di posizione e conflitti interni ed esterni al mondo sindacale.
“Per noi caricare le missilistiche o i carri armati, e tutto quello che viene impiegato nei teatri di guerra è tanto quanto il soldato che monta il missile sull’aereo che poi andrà a bombardare”. È una delle frasi che attraversano il film come una linea di confine netta: il rifiuto di movimentare armi destinate ai conflitti, la battaglia contro la cosiddetta “nave delle armi”, la richiesta di maggiore sicurezza sul lavoro e di un sindacato capace di leggere il presente. Sullo sfondo, il dialogo con altri portuali del Mediterraneo e l’idea, ostinata, di dare forma a un mondo diverso. Con tutto il prezzo che questo comporta.
Al termine della proiezione è previsto un dibattito con Emiliano Galati, giornalista e sindacalista, mentre la regista sarà collegata in streaming. Modera la giornalista Jessica Cugini.
L’iniziativa è realizzata in collaborazione con l’associazione Veronetta Centoventinove. Ingresso gratuito con tessera associativa La Sobilla APS (5 euro). Nessun parcheggio disponibile. Una serata che promette di accendere il confronto, partendo da un porto e arrivando molto più lontano.
